Description

The LumiLife 600x600mm LED panel light is a flush-mounted ceiling fixture delivering 3,600 lumens through an integrated 36W LED array at 5000K daylight white. The panel uses edge-lit LED technology behind a diffuser to distribute uniform, shadow-free light across the full 600x600mm surface, fitting standard suspended ceiling grids used in UK commercial interiors.

Designed for offices, meeting rooms, retail back-of-house areas and educational spaces requiring bright, functional overhead lighting, the panel produces 100 lumens per watt and carries a UGR<19 rating to limit glare on screens and work surfaces. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments — Zone 3 bathroom areas or dry circulation spaces away from direct water contact. The white aluminium frame (RAL 9016) sits flush with ceiling tiles once installed, giving a clean recessed appearance.

The integrated LED driver is mounted within the panel housing and connects via quick-connector terminals for faster installation. LumiLife rates the panel at 50,000 hours lifespan under typical commercial use, equivalent to approximately 11 years of continuous operation or 20+ years at 8 hours per day. The 1.9kg weight requires adequate support from the ceiling grid or fixings when surface-mounted. The panel is non-dimmable in its standard configuration but DALI-compatible versions exist within the LumiLife range if dimming control is required.

Does this panel fit standard 600x600mm ceiling grids?

Yes. The panel is designed to drop into standard suspended ceiling grids with 600x600mm tile openings, commonly used in UK commercial buildings. It can also be surface-mounted using a separate mounting frame (sold separately) where no suspended ceiling exists.

Is the panel dimmable?

This model is non-dimmable as supplied. LumiLife produces DALI-compatible versions of this panel if dimming control is required — search for DALI variants or contact us to confirm availability.

What does the UGR<19 rating mean?

UGR (Unified Glare Rating) measures how much glare a light fitting produces. A rating below 19 is considered low-glare and suitable for office environments with computer screens, reducing eye strain and reflection on monitors.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas. In bathrooms it can only be installed in Zone 3 (areas more than 2.4m from a water source), such as above a door or in a separate dressing area within a bathroom suite. It cannot be used in Zones 0, 1 or 2 where water contact is possible.
