Description

The LumiLife 200W Essential UFO High Bay is a disc-shaped industrial LED fitting delivering 26,000 lumens at 5700K daylight through a 120° beam angle. The die-cast aluminium body houses a radial heatsink design with integrated driver and a built-in potentiometer that allows wattage and lumen output to be adjusted on-site without replacing the fitting. An IP65 rating seals the unit against dust and water jets from any direction.

Designed for warehouses, workshops, sports halls and manufacturing spaces with ceiling heights between 4m and 10m, the UFO high bay mounts via a top eyelet hook onto chain, cable or a fixed suspension bracket. The 5700K colour temperature gives a cool white daylight tone suited to task-focused environments where colour rendering and visibility matter. The adjustable wattage function means a single fitting can be dialled between lower output for lower ceilings or higher output for taller spaces, reducing the need to stock multiple wattage variants.

The radial heatsink fins draw heat away from the LED array and driver continuously, allowing the fitting to operate in ambient temperatures from -30°C to +50°C without thermal shutdown. The 4.5kg weight and compact 350mm diameter keep the fitting light enough for single-person installation on commercial ceiling structures. The potentiometer adjusts output in increments, giving control over both energy consumption and light levels without requiring external dimming infrastructure.

Dimmable operation is supported via 0-10V or DALI protocols where the installation includes compatible control gear. The 120° beam spreads light evenly across working surfaces below, minimising sharp shadows and reducing the number of fittings needed to achieve uniform coverage across large floor areas.

How does the wattage adjustment work?

A built-in potentiometer dial on the rear of the fitting allows wattage and lumen output to be adjusted on-site. This means a single 200W fitting can be set to lower output levels for installations with lower ceilings or where less light is needed, without requiring a separate dimming system.

What ceiling height is this suitable for?

The 26,000lm output and 120° beam angle suit ceiling heights between 4m and 10m. Below 4m the fitting may create glare; above 10m the light spreads too widely to maintain adequate lux levels at floor level without additional fittings.

Is it rated for outdoor use?

The IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas such as loading bays, canopies and agricultural buildings. It is not rated for full exposure to weather without overhead protection.

How is it mounted?

The fitting mounts via a top eyelet hook, which accepts chain, suspension cable or a fixed bracket. The hook can rotate freely, allowing the fitting to self-level once suspended.
