Description

The LumiLife 150W Essential UFO High Bay is a 19,500-lumen LED fitting designed for ceiling heights of 5 metres or higher, delivering 5700K daylight-white light across a 120-degree beam angle. The fitting uses Samsung 2835 SMD chips paired with a LiFud 1-10V dimmable driver, achieving 170lm/W luminous efficiency at full output. The driver includes a pentameter feature that reduces both lumen and power output by 25% when needed.

Designed for warehouses, sports halls, manufacturing plants, shopping centres and large conference areas, the fitting installs via an IP67 waterproof cable connector and carries an IP65 rating on the main housing, making it suitable for environments with dust and water spray. The 1-10V dimming protocol is compatible with standard commercial dimming systems, allowing light levels to be adjusted during quieter periods or when natural daylight contributes to the space.

The UFO form factor (a disc-shaped housing approximately 300mm diameter, 100mm deep) distributes the LED array across a wide surface area, improving thermal management and reducing hotspots on the driver. The black die-cast aluminium housing acts as a passive heatsink, keeping the Samsung chips within their optimal operating temperature range. The fitting weighs 3.75kg and mounts via a suspension bracket or chain-hang from ceiling joists or structural steel.

The fitting is designed for installation heights of 5 metres or higher. At this height, the 120-degree beam angle provides adequate coverage over a working area without excessive glare at eye level. Lower ceilings may result in bright spots directly beneath the fitting.
