Description

The Lumen is a 2 light wall light combining a polished chrome circular backplate with a matt black vertical arm that holds two clear glass globe shades. Each 12cm diameter globe houses a G9 bulb (sold separately), with the globes positioned symmetrically above and below the central chrome mount. The clear glass allows the bulb filament or LED element to remain visible, making bulb choice part of the visual design.

Designed for hallways, either side of mirrors, or flanking architectural features in living rooms and bedrooms, the Lumen provides balanced ambient light distributed up and down the wall. The 37cm height and 27cm projection from the wall mean the fitting works on surfaces with headroom clearance of at least 50cm above and below the mounting point. The polished chrome backplate reflects light back into the room, amplifying output from the two bulbs.

The combination of reflective chrome and non-reflective matt black creates material contrast that pairs well with mid-century, contemporary and industrial interiors. The glass globes show the warm glow of filament bulbs or the clean output of LED G9s depending on user preference. The compact footprint and 0.65kg weight allow mounting on standard plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings, without requiring structural support.

The fitting takes two G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users choose warm-white LED G9s between 3W-5W and 2700K-3000K. Dimmable G9 LEDs are available if pairing with a compatible dimmer switch.

Can the globes be replaced if broken?

The clear glass globes are part of the fitting assembly. Contact Impex or Niori directly for replacement globe availability if one is damaged.

What wall clearance is needed?

The fitting is 37cm tall and projects 27cm from the wall. Allow at least 50cm of clear wall space above and below the mounting point to avoid the globes being too close to ceilings, skirting boards or adjacent furniture.
