Description

The Flessen is a 2-light solid brass wall light with twin curved arms extending from a vertically mounted backplate, finished in pewter. Each arm terminates in a candle-style holder accepting an SES bulb up to 60W (sold separately). The sculpted central column features a turned bulb-shaped body with decorative bow tie detailing on the arms, built entirely from solid brass and given a low-sheen pewter finish that softens reflections.

Designed for hallways, landings, dining room walls and flanking positions around mirrors or fireplaces, the Flessen provides balanced illumination across a 29cm span. The 15cm projection from the wall keeps the light clear of furniture placed against the wall while the 23cm height suits standard wall heights between dado and picture rail. The symmetrical arm layout works well in pairs on either side of a mirror or bed, or singly where a two-arm sconce provides sufficient light without needing a matching opposite fitting.

The pewter finish sits between polished chrome and antique brass in tone, pairing cleanly with cool greys, natural stone, and matt-finish furniture. The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 0.65kg presence on the wall without feeling heavy, and the metal retains its form over time better than plated alternatives. Is it suitable for bathroom installation?

The Flessen carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installation.
