Description
The Energizer LED GLS is an 8.5W E27 screw-fit bulb delivering 806 lumens of warm white 3000K light across a 240° beam angle, providing the same output as a traditional 60W incandescent bulb while consuming approximately 86% less electricity. The GLS (General Lighting Service) shape is the standard pear-shaped bulb profile that fits most table lamps, ceiling pendants, wall lights and bare-bulb fixtures.
Designed for general ambient lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, the bulb is non-dimmable and produces consistent 3000K warm white light suitable for evening use and areas where relaxation is the priority. The E27 Edison screw base fits standard UK and European lamp holders. Each bulb measures 60mm diameter by 109mm height, matching the footprint of traditional GLS incandescents.
The four-pack format allows multiple fixtures to be updated in one purchase, whether outfitting a pendant cluster, matching table lamps, or several ceiling fittings across interconnected rooms. Energizer rates these bulbs at 15,000 hours of life based on average use of 2.7 hours per day, translating to approximately 15 years before replacement. The bulbs carry an F energy rating under current UK labelling (the scale changed in 2021, with F now representing good efficiency for LED technology).

Frequently Asked
Are these bulbs dimmable?
No. These are non-dimmable LED bulbs and should not be used with dimmer switches. Attempting to dim a non-dimmable LED can cause flickering, buzzing or premature failure. If dimming is required, a separate dimmable E27 LED bulb is needed.
What is the light output compared to a traditional bulb?
At 806 lumens, this 8.5W LED bulb produces the same light output as a 60W incandescent GLS bulb while consuming 86% less electricity. The 3000K warm white colour temperature closely matches the tone of traditional tungsten bulbs.
How long do the bulbs last?
Energizer rates these at 15,000 hours. Based on typical residential use of 2.7 hours per day, this translates to approximately 15 years of operation before the bulb reaches end of life.
What does the F energy rating mean?
The UK and EU energy label scale changed in 2021. F is now a mid-range rating for LED bulbs, representing good efficiency. The previous A+ rating was retired because nearly all LEDs qualified, making the label meaningless. An F-rated LED still uses far less electricity than any halogen or incandescent equivalent.
