Description
The Energizer 1000 lumen LED camping lantern provides 360-degree light output with three selectable brightness modes, a built-in USB powerbank for device charging, and an IP54 water-resistance rating that protects against rain and dust. The lantern runs on four D batteries (not included) and delivers up to 12 hours of runtime on the highest setting.
Designed for camping, outdoor events, power outages and workshop use, the lantern sits stable on a flat base with a fold-down carry handle on top. The handle allows the lantern to be hung from a tent pole, tree branch or hook, or carried between locations. The USB output port on the side panel can charge phones, tablets or GPS units directly from the lantern's battery supply, useful when mains power is unavailable.
The dimmable LED array offers three brightness settings: full 1000 lumens for cooking, equipment setup or general camp lighting; a mid-level setting that balances runtime and visibility; and a low night-light mode that provides enough light to move around a tent without disturbing others. The IP54 rating means the lantern can withstand rain showers and dusty conditions, though it is not submersible. The red base section and white top section with the Energizer branding make the lantern highly visible when placed on the ground at night.

Frequently Asked
What batteries does it use and how long do they last?
The lantern requires four D-cell batteries, sold separately. Runtime is up to 12 hours on the highest 1000 lumen setting, extending significantly on lower brightness modes. Alkaline or rechargeable D batteries both work.
Can it charge a phone while the light is on?
Yes. The USB output port draws from the same D-cell battery supply as the LED array, so you can charge devices via the USB port while the lantern is lit. Charging speed depends on the condition and capacity of the D batteries installed.
Is it waterproof enough for rain?
The IP54 rating protects against rain and splashes from any direction, plus dust ingress. The lantern is not submersible and should not be left in standing water or submerged in a stream.
What are the three brightness modes?
The lantern offers full 1000 lumens for tasks requiring maximum visibility, a mid-level setting for general ambient lighting with extended battery life, and a low night-light mode for moving around a tent or campsite without waking others.
