Description

The Elara is a 30cm domed glass pendant light with a polished gold finish, suspended on a black fabric cable from a matt black ceiling rose. The dome-shaped shade is formed from metal-coated glass that provides a warm metallic sheen while allowing light to pass through the material itself, creating both direct downlight from the exposed E27 bulb inside and a soft ambient glow through the gold-tinted glass.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, bedside positions and entryway ceilings, the Elara works as a single pendant in smaller spaces or in a linear sequence of two or three over worktops and tables. The 30cm diameter and 42cm height (shade only, excluding cable drop) give the pendant enough presence to anchor a space without dominating low-ceilinged rooms. The black suspension cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the correct height above a surface or at ceiling height in a stairwell.

The gold finish on the glass catches and reflects warm interior lighting, adding tonal depth to timber cabinetry, warm white walls and neutral-toned interiors. The dome profile softens the industrial pendant format, making the Elara more suited to residential settings than harsher warehouse-style fittings. The pendant accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or decorative filament bulb up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose light output and colour temperature based on the room.

What bulb does the Elara take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-8W and 2700K-3000K to complement the gold finish.

How is the cable length adjusted?

The black fabric suspension cable is adjustable during installation. The electrician can set the drop height to suit ceiling height and the position of the surface below, then secure the excess cable within the ceiling rose.

Does light pass through the gold glass?

Yes. The shade is metal-coated glass rather than solid metal, so light passes through the material and creates a warm ambient glow around the fitting as well as directed downlight from the exposed bulb inside the dome.

Can I use multiple Elara pendants together?

Yes. The Elara works well in linear sequences of two or three over kitchen islands and dining tables. Install each pendant on a separate ceiling rose and cable run to allow independent height adjustment for each fitting.
