Description

The Knightsbridge E27 vintage pendant holder is a pre-wired lamp holder in matt white premium steel, designed for exposed-bulb pendant installations or for pairing with fabric or metal lampshades. The holder accepts standard E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W and carries a T2 thermal rating for safe operation with incandescent or LED bulbs.

Designed for residential, hospitality and retail use, the pendant holder fits any standard UK ceiling rose and comes pre-wired with 0.15m of cable to reduce installation time. The 42mm internal ring at the base of the holder accommodates most standard lampshades, allowing the fitting to be used bare for industrial or vintage interiors, or dressed with a fabric or metal shade for more traditional settings. The fixed drop keeps the bulb position consistent once installed.

The matt white finish provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with both warm and cool-toned interiors, and the premium steel construction gives the holder durability in high-use commercial environments. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you fit. The holder itself is passive and does not affect dimming — choose a dimmable LED or filament bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch.

What does Class II mean?

Class II means the holder is double-insulated and does not require an earth connection at the ceiling rose. This simplifies installation in older properties where earthing may not be present or reliable.
