Description
The Veloxis is a rechargeable outdoor LED floor lamp with a matt black painted metal stem, rectangular base and tapered shade housing a 1.5W 3000K LED behind an acrylic diffuser. The lamp stands 1.4m tall with a 140mm square footprint and operates cordlessly via an internal rechargeable battery, removing the need for visible cables or proximity to mains sockets.
Designed for patios, terraces, poolside decking and garden paths, the Veloxis carries an IP54 rating protecting against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for outdoor use in UK weather conditions. The touch-sensitive control on the stem allows dimming without physical switches, and the battery charges fully in 6 hours via a standard mains adapter (included). Runtime depends on dimmer setting, with typical use providing 4-8 hours between charges.
The matt black finish on the metal components resists visible fingerprints and surface scratches better than gloss paint, while the acrylic diffuser distributes the warm 3000K light evenly without glare or visible LED points. The 140mm square base provides stability on level hard surfaces including composite decking, paving and polished concrete, though soft ground or gravel may require a paving slab underneath to prevent tipping. The lamp weighs approximately 2kg when assembled, light enough to be moved between locations but substantial enough to resist light wind.

Frequently Asked
How long does the battery last between charges?
Runtime depends on the dimmer setting. At full brightness the lamp typically runs for 4-5 hours. At lower dimmer settings the runtime extends to 6-8 hours. The battery charges fully in 6 hours via the included mains adapter.
Can it be left outdoors permanently?
The IP54 rating protects against rain and dust, so the lamp can remain outdoors during typical UK weather. However, prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures or submersion in standing water is not recommended. Many users bring the lamp indoors during winter months to extend battery lifespan.
How is the lamp controlled?
A touch-sensitive control on the metal stem allows you to turn the lamp on, off, and adjust dimming levels. There are no physical buttons or switches — just touch the stem to cycle through brightness settings.
Is the lamp stable in wind?
The 140mm square base provides stability on level hard surfaces in light-to-moderate wind. In exposed locations or on soft ground, placing the base on a paving slab improves stability. The lamp should be brought indoors or secured during storm conditions.
