Streamlight 3 Light Strass Crystal Floor Lamp - Gold

The Streamlight is a 160cm crystal floor lamp with three BC bulb fittings (sold separately) housed inside a cascading fountain of Strass crystal strands, suspended from arched gold-finished metal arms that fan outward from a central column. The 40cm diameter crystal canopy sits at approximately 140cm height, with the remaining 20cm taken by the weighted circular base and lower column section.

Designed for lounge corners, beside armchairs, or flanking console tables in hallways and dining rooms, the Streamlight pairs ambient light with ornamental presence. The three 40W BC bulbs sit behind the crystal curtain, so the light source is diffused through the strands rather than exposed directly. This creates a soft wash of light that reflects off the crystal facets and spreads radially across nearby walls and ceilings. The lamp works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, where the 160cm height does not crowd the vertical space.

The Strass crystal strands are cut with angular facets that catch both daylight and artificial light, creating shifting reflections as viewing angle changes throughout the day. The gold finish on the frame and base provides a warm metallic accent that contrasts with the clear crystal and pairs comfortably with warm-toned interiors, brass accessories, and walnut or oak furniture. What bulbs does the Streamlight take?

The lamp takes three BC (bayonet cap, B22) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to create ambient rather than task lighting.

Is the crystal real or acrylic?

The Streamlight uses Strass crystal, which is cut glass crystal with faceted edges. It is not acrylic or plastic. The facets catch and refract light, creating the shifting reflections visible in the image.

Can it be used on carpet?

Yes. The 9kg weight and circular base provide stability on both hard floors and short-to-medium pile carpets. On deep-pile rugs the base may sink slightly but the weighted design keeps the lamp upright.

What ceiling height is needed?

The lamp stands 160cm tall. It works comfortably in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with lower ceilings the crystal canopy may feel visually compressed against the ceiling plane.
