Description

The Solana is a 6-light drop chandelier built around a vertical matt black metal frame with six smoked Pyrex glass globes arranged at staggered heights along its 520mm drop. Each globe houses a G9 bulb (sold separately) and the smoked glass diffuses the light into a warm glow while leaving the bulb partially visible inside the sphere.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Solana works as both task and ambient lighting. The vertical arrangement means the lowest globe sits approximately 400-500mm below the highest, creating depth when viewed from the side and spreading light across multiple heights rather than clustering it at one level. The 260mm diameter footprint keeps the fixture compact enough for tables 1.2-1.8m wide without overwhelming the space.

The matt black finish on the metal frame absorbs reflections and pairs cleanly with industrial, contemporary and monochrome interiors. The smoked Pyrex glass is hand-blown, so tonal variation and slight thickness differences between globes are normal. The frame is wired internally, so the cable runs inside the vertical stem rather than externally alongside it. The canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the drop is fixed at 520mm on installation, with no on-site adjustment.
