Description

The Prios is a 30W LED floor lamp built around a tall rectangular frame in matt black painted metal with an opal plastic diffuser panel filling the central aperture. The integrated LED emits 3000K warm white light through the diffuser, providing direct but glare-reduced illumination. The rectangular base measures 300mm square and sits flat on hard floors or low-pile rugs.

Designed for reading corners, beside sofas, or in home offices where direct task lighting is needed without a ceiling fitting, the Prios delivers focused downward light rather than ambient room fill. The tall vertical profile (approximately 1500-1700mm in most configurations) suits rooms with standard ceiling heights where the lamp can be positioned behind or beside seating without blocking sightlines. The matt black finish reduces reflections under daylight and artificial lighting alike.

The opal diffuser softens the LED output enough to avoid sharp shadows on reading material while maintaining enough directionality to illuminate a desk surface or armchair effectively. The metal frame construction gives the lamp structural rigidity without requiring guy wires or counterweights, and the 300mm base footprint provides stability without occupying excessive floor area. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.
