Description

The Lyrica is a brass floor lamp built around a slender vertical stem with four frosted acrylic spheres mounted to one side, each housing an integrated 3W LED (12W total output at 3000K). The spheres graduate in size from top to bottom, creating a stacked visual motif that casts soft diffused light across the room without glare. The brass finish runs the full height of the stem and across the circular base, which measures 220mm in diameter.

Designed as ambient lighting rather than directed task light, the Lyrica suits corners of bedrooms, lounges and reading areas where additional warm light is needed without occupying floor space with a bulky shade. The lamp sits on a 220mm-square footprint and the 3m cable with inline switch allows it to be positioned away from wall sockets. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The four acrylic spheres diffuse the LED light evenly, so the lamp creates a soft glow rather than a focused beam. The brass finish is lacquered to resist tarnishing and shows minimal visible fixings on the stem. At approximately 1.5m height, the Lyrica provides a vertical accent in rooms with low furniture without the visual mass of a traditional shade-and-base floor lamp. The integrated LED is not user-replaceable and is not dimmable on standard household dimmers.

Is the Lyrica dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming on standard household dimmer switches. The lamp operates at full 12W output when switched on.

What rooms can it be used in?

The IP20 rating restricts the Lyrica to dry indoor locations only. It suits bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and other dry interior spaces but is not rated for bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor use.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the lamp and is not user-replaceable. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty covering the LED and driver.

How is the brass finish maintained?

The brass is lacquered to resist tarnishing. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that may damage the lacquer coating.
