Description

The Basis CCT is a 604mm linear track light with an integrated 24W LED strip, adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white, and Bluetooth Mesh app control. The fitting mounts onto Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track system via a magnetic connector running 48V DC, eliminating the need for traditional track clips or mechanical fixing points.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, retail display areas and galleries where task lighting or accent lighting requires directional control, the linear format throws light forward in a narrow beam rather than spreading it omni-directionally. The 604mm length covers approximately 600mm of linear run along a worktop, shelving unit or wall display, making it suitable for island counters, desk runs and feature walls needing targeted illumination without ambient spill. The Bluetooth Mesh app allows colour temperature and dimming to be adjusted per fitting or grouped across multiple Basis units on the same circuit.

The aluminium housing is finished in matt black powder coat with a white polycarbonate diffuser along the underside, giving even light distribution along the 604mm run without visible LED hotspots. The magnetic mounting system means the Basis can be repositioned along the Exility track without tools, allowing reconfiguration as room layouts change. The 48V DC supply runs through the track itself rather than requiring mains voltage at each fitting position, simplifying installation and giving greater flexibility for multi-fitting layouts.

The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior environments. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty covering electronic driver and LED failure under normal residential or light commercial use.

What track system does this fit?

The Basis CCT fits only the Maytoni Magnetic Exility track system. It uses a magnetic connector and 48V DC supply running through the track, so it will not fit standard mains-voltage track lighting systems from other manufacturers.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

Colour temperature and dimming are controlled via the Bluetooth Mesh app on iOS or Android. The app connects to the Basis fitting when within Bluetooth range (approximately 10m), allowing you to adjust from warm 2700K to cool 6000K and set brightness levels.

Can the fitting be repositioned along the track?

Yes. The magnetic mounting system allows the Basis to be moved along the Exility track without tools. Power is delivered continuously along the track, so the fitting reconnects automatically when repositioned.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 24W LED strip is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced separately. The entire unit carries a 5-year warranty covering LED and driver failure.
