The Aeron is a 245mm black wire mesh pendant light built from a single ovoid metal cage with a fine diamond-pattern mesh finish. The cage houses a central E27 bulb holder suspended on a black fabric cable, and the wire weave allows the bulb itself to become part of the visual composition while diffusing light outward through the mesh apertures.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and clustered installations where multiple pendants can be grouped at varying heights, the Aeron works with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. The 2000mm cable is adjustable during installation, typically set 600-800mm above a dining surface or 700-900mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only.

The black powder-coated finish on the metal cage gives a low-sheen surface that sits comfortably in both industrial and contemporary interiors. The wire mesh construction weighs considerably less than solid metal shades while maintaining structural rigidity, and the open weave allows ambient air circulation around the bulb. The fitting accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or decorative filament bulb up to the rated wattage (see Specification). Is the Aeron dimmable?

The fitting itself supports dimming, but dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulb you choose. Use a dimmable E27 LED or halogen bulb paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What bulb is recommended?

The Aeron takes a standard E27 bulb. Most users pair this with a 6-10W warm-white LED (2700K-3000K) or a decorative filament-style LED bulb where the bulb itself becomes part of the design. Check the Specification tab for the maximum wattage rating.

Can multiple Aeron pendants be clustered together?

Yes. The Aeron is commonly installed in groups of two, three or five at staggered heights over kitchen islands or dining tables. Each pendant requires its own ceiling rose and cable run unless a multi-drop ceiling plate is used.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2000mm cable suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. For a dining table the pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above the surface; for a kitchen island 600-900mm depending on ceiling height. The cable is adjustable during installation but cannot be lengthened beyond 2000mm.
