Description
The Aeron is a 28cm diameter spherical pendant light with a fine lattice metalwork shade in a gold-tone finish, housing a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The aluminium mesh structure allows light to pass through the lattice gaps, casting intricate geometric shadows onto surrounding walls and ceilings while the metal itself catches and reflects ambient light from the room.
Designed for dining tables, breakfast bars, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Aeron works well as a single pendant centred over a table or clustered in groups of two or three at varying heights where a wider surface needs coverage. The 2m cable allows the drop to be adjusted during installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, typically positioning the sphere 700-900mm above a table surface or worktop. The E27 fitting accepts standard LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs, giving control over colour temperature and brightness.
The gold finish on the aluminium mesh provides warmth without the high reflectivity of polished brass, sitting comfortably alongside oak, walnut and other mid-tone woods in contemporary and mid-century interiors. At 295mm diameter the sphere provides presence without dominating smaller rooms, and the lightweight aluminium construction keeps the fitting at a manageable weight for standard ceiling roses. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations.

Frequently Asked
Is the Aeron dimmable?
Yes. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you use in the E27 fitting. Most dimmable LED bulbs work with trailing-edge dimmers, but check the bulb packaging or contact us if pairing with an existing dimmer.
What bulb does it take?
The Aeron takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a 6-10W LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for dining and living areas, or a decorative filament bulb where the mesh frame will expose the bulb shape.
Can multiple Aeron pendants be grouped together?
Yes. The 28cm diameter allows two or three Aeron pendants to be clustered at different heights over a kitchen island or dining table without the spheres colliding. Stagger the drops by 150-300mm for visual interest.
What room size does it suit?
The 28cm sphere works well in rooms from 10m² upwards. It provides ambient and decorative light rather than task lighting, so pair with additional sources (downlights, wall lights) in larger kitchens or open-plan spaces where higher light levels are needed.
