Description

The Streamlight is a 60cm crystal chandelier built around a central gold-finish starburst frame with six BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb fittings arranged in a circular tier. Strands of faceted crystal droplets and beads hang from arched gold arms that radiate from the centre, creating a waterfall effect that sits approximately 50cm from ceiling rose to lowest crystal point.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Streamlight provides both ambient and decorative light. The six 40W maximum bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the upper crystal layer, so the light refracts through the faceted glass before reaching the room. The 60cm diameter suits dining tables of 1.4-1.8m length or bedrooms where the chandelier hangs over the foot of the bed rather than directly above it. The 6kg weight requires secure ceiling fixings into joists or a reinforced rose.

The gold finish on the metal framework has a warm metallic tone that pairs with brass, bronze and antique gold fixtures elsewhere in the room. What bulbs does it take?

The Streamlight uses six BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulbs, each rated up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for dining and bedroom applications.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 50cm drop from ceiling rose to lowest crystal point works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For dining tables the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of approximately 2.7m when accounting for table height and the chandelier drop.

Is assembly required?

Yes. The crystal strands attach to the gold arms during installation. This allows the density and spread of the crystal curtain to be adjusted slightly by spacing the strands on the arms. Allow 30-45 minutes for assembly and hanging.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains before cleaning. Remove dust with a soft microfibre cloth or feather duster. For deeper cleaning, individual crystal droplets can be detached from their fixing loops, wiped with a barely-damp cloth, dried and re-hung. Avoid household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystal.
