The Streamlight is a 3-light crystal chandelier built around a central antique nickel frame that extends slender arched arms outward in a fountain formation. Each arm carries a single BC (bayonet cap) bulb fitting and terminates in multiple strands of faceted Strass lead crystal droplets in varying sizes, creating a cascading effect across the 40cm diameter and 44cm height of the fitting.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and landings with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Streamlight delivers decorative and ambient lighting through a combination of direct bulb output and crystal refraction. The 40cm diameter suits circular dining tables for four to six people, or square tables up to 1.2m, positioned 700-900mm above the table surface depending on ceiling height. The antique nickel finish provides a cooler metallic tone than brass or bronze, working with grey, white and industrial colour schemes.

Each of the three BC fittings accepts a bulb up to 40W (120W combined load), with most installations pairing the chandelier with warm-white LED candle bulbs in the 4-6W range. The Strass lead crystal droplets amplify and scatter the light output, producing a higher level of ambient brightness than a bare-bulb fitting would deliver at the same wattage. The chandelier weighs 6kg, requiring a ceiling rose rated for that load plus a safety margin and preferably mounted into a joist or a ceiling fixing rated for 10kg minimum.

What bulb does it take?

The Streamlight takes three BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs in the 4-6W range and 2700K-3000K colour temperature for dining room use.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier itself is 44cm tall, and when hung 700-900mm above a dining table requires a ceiling height of approximately 2.4m minimum. For higher ceilings the drop can be extended using additional chain or flex.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power. Remove each crystal droplet by unclipping it from its fixing loop. Wash gently in warm water with a small amount of washing-up liquid, rinse in clean water, and dry with a lint-free cloth. Reattach once fully dry.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The chandelier can be fitted to a sloped ceiling if a suitable angled ceiling rose or canopy is used. The crystal droplets hang vertically under gravity, so the overall visual effect remains balanced even when the canopy is angled.
