Streamlight 13 Light Strass Crystal Waterfall Chandelier - Chrome

The Streamlight is a 60cm diameter waterfall chandelier with thirteen GU10 downlights concealed within a chrome canopy at the top, from which multiple strands of precision-cut Strass crystal cascade down in tiered layers to a total drop of 235cm. The crystal strands form a dense curtain that catches and refracts light from the bulbs above and from surrounding windows or wall lights, creating a shifting column of reflections.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells and mezzanine voids where ceiling heights exceed 3m, the Streamlight uses vertical drop to anchor the visual centre of a tall space. The thirteen GU10 sockets at the top accept LED, halogen or retrofit bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately), with the combined light directed down through the crystal strands rather than outward. This means the chandelier provides decorative sparkle rather than primary room illumination, so most installations pair it with additional ceiling spots or wall lights.

Each crystal strand is hand-strung and fixed to the chrome frame at the canopy, with the tiered structure creating three distinct curtain layers that move independently when air circulates through the space. At 22.5kg the chandelier requires a ceiling joist fixing or reinforced rose rather than a standard plasterboard fixing. The chrome finish on the canopy and mounting hardware matches polished chrome door furniture, taps and contemporary metalwork.

What ceiling height is required?

The 235cm drop means the chandelier needs a minimum ceiling height of approximately 3m to leave adequate clearance below the lowest crystal tier. It is designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells and mezzanines rather than standard 2.4m ceiling rooms.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier has thirteen GU10 sockets, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use warm-white LED GU10 bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to balance brightness with the decorative crystal effect.

Does it provide enough light for a hallway?

The Streamlight is primarily decorative. The thirteen downlights direct light through the crystal rather than outward into the room, so the chandelier provides accent lighting and sparkle rather than full room illumination. Most installations pair it with additional ceiling spots or wall lights.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off power at the mains before cleaning. Each crystal strand can be wiped individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or allowing water near the electrical fittings at the canopy. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystal.
