Description
The Samero is a 15-light chandelier built on a three-tier nickel frame with five lights per tier, each housed in a round optical glass dish. A cut crystal sphere anchors the centre column, with the entire structure suspended on a nickel chain and canopy. The 82cm diameter and 48cm drop are sized for rooms with ceiling heights above 2.7m, where the chandelier hangs as a centrepiece rather than a background fitting.
Designed for double-height hallways, dining rooms with 3m+ ceilings, and formal reception spaces, the Samero distributes light across three horizontal planes rather than concentrating it in a single cluster. Each tier steps down in diameter, creating a tapered profile when viewed from below. The fifteen G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit upright within the optical glass dishes, which diffuse the light outward and downward without glare. Small crystal droplets beneath each dish add decorative detail without the weight or scale of a full crystal chandelier.
The nickel finish on the metalwork is polished to a high shine, reflecting ambient light and pairing cleanly with marble floors, dark timber panelling, or neutral-toned walls in Georgian, Victorian and contemporary classical interiors. The 10kg weight requires a reinforced ceiling rose or structural fixing point — confirm the ceiling can support the load before installation. The optical glass dishes are individually removable for cleaning, though they sit in metal cradles that require care during handling to avoid chipping the edges.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Samero take?
The chandelier takes fifteen G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W. G9 bulbs are sold separately and are available in LED, halogen and warm-white colour temperatures. Most users pair this with 3W-5W LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or hallway lighting.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 48cm drop plus the chain length means the chandelier works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In dining rooms the bottom tier typically sits 2-2.2m above the floor to clear head height while remaining visually present.
Is the chandelier dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED G9 bulbs vary in their dimmer performance — check the bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before pairing with a dimmer switch.
Can the ceiling support the 10kg weight?
A standard plasterboard ceiling with a basic ceiling rose will not support 10kg safely. The chandelier requires either a joist-mounted fixing point or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for the load. Consult a qualified electrician before installation if unsure.
