Description
The Samero is a 12-light chandelier built on a two-tier polished gold frame with six upper arms and six lower arms, each ending in a cup-shaped optical glass diffuser and a G9 bulb fitting. The central column features a diamond-cut optical glass finial at the top and a faceted glass sphere at the centre, both catching and refracting light across the metal frame.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Samero provides ambient light across a 72cm diameter spread. The two-tier configuration positions the upper six lights approximately 10cm higher than the lower six, creating depth when viewed from below and distributing light more evenly than a single-tier arrangement. Each G9 bulb is sold separately, with most installations using 3-5W LED capsules at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light.
The polished gold finish on the metal frame gives a high-gloss reflective surface that pairs with traditional brass hardware, warm wood tones and deeper paint colours in classical and transitional interiors. The optical glass cups are machine-cut with radial facets that scatter light when the bulbs are on and give the chandelier a defined outline when off. At 10kg the fitting requires a ceiling strong enough to carry the weight, typically a solid joist or reinforced ceiling rose.
The Samero sits visually between ornate crystal chandeliers and simpler brass multi-arm fittings — it carries decorative glass elements without the full cascade of droplets seen on Diyas or Impex's more elaborate ranges, making it compatible with rooms that need a centrepiece without competing with patterned wallpapers or layered furnishings.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Samero take?
The chandelier uses 12 × G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. G9 is a push-fit base with two looped pins. Most users fit 3-5W LED capsules in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining room light. The maximum wattage per bulb is 33W, which allows for higher-output halogens if needed.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 50cm body height plus chain/rod suspension means the Samero works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. In a dining room the base of the chandelier typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface, which requires a 2.4m minimum ceiling height if the table is standard dining height.
Is the chandelier suitable for a sloped ceiling?
The Samero can be fitted to a sloped ceiling using an angled ceiling rose or canopy adapter (sold separately). The chain suspension allows the chandelier to hang vertically even when the ceiling surface is angled.
How is the optical glass cleaned?
The glass cups and finial can be wiped with a microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water. For stubborn marks, a 50/50 mix of distilled water and white vinegar works on optical glass without leaving streaks. Turn off the power before cleaning and avoid soaking the metal fittings.
