Description
The Queenlight is an 8-light chandelier built around eight curved glass arms extending from a central column finished in gold plate, each arm carrying strands of cut Czech crystal droplets and terminating in an SES candle bulb holder. The 55cm diameter frame suspends from a matching gold canopy on a chain, with the crystals catching and refracting light across multiple planes when the bulbs are lit.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height landings with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Queenlight works where a decorative centrepiece is needed rather than primary task lighting. The eight arms are evenly spaced around the central column, giving a balanced silhouette from any viewing angle. Each arm holds a maximum 60W SES bulb (sold separately), allowing the user to choose between warm-white LED candle bulbs for ambient lighting or clear filament bulbs where the exposed element adds to the decorative effect.
The gold-plated finish on the metalwork provides a warm metallic tone that pairs with brass fixtures, warm timber joinery and traditional colour palettes in cream, terracotta and sage green. The Czech crystal is cut in a mix of faceted droplets and almond-shaped pendants, hung on short chains that allow each piece to catch light independently. The combined weight of the glass arms, crystal and metal frame totals 6kg, requiring a ceiling rose rated for suspension loads and a secure fixing into a joist or ceiling batten.
The 40cm height measurement refers to the chandelier body only, excluding the chain drop. Installation typically positions the bottom of the chandelier 700-900mm above a dining table surface or 2.1-2.3m above finished floor level in an entrance hall, depending on ceiling height and user preference.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The chandelier takes eight SES (Small Edison Screw, E14 base) bulbs, each rated up to a maximum of 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining room lighting.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 40cm body height plus chain drop typically requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.7m to position the chandelier 700-900mm above a dining table or 2.1m above floor level in a hallway. The chain can be shortened during installation to suit lower ceilings.
How is the chandelier cleaned?
Turn off the mains supply before cleaning. Wipe the gold-plated frame with a dry microfibre cloth. For the crystal, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water or a specialist crystal cleaner, working one piece at a time. Avoid soaking the crystals or using household spray cleaners, which can leave residue.
Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?
The chandelier hangs from a chain, so it will self-level on a sloped ceiling up to approximately 30 degrees. Steeper pitches may require a ceiling rose adaptor or canopy designed for angled mounting.
