Description

The Queenlight is a 16-light chandelier with curved gold-finished arms radiating from a central sculpted column, dressed with Czech crystal droplets and pendants. The two-tier structure places 12 lights on the lower ring and four lights on the upper tier, each fitted with a candle-style SES bulb holder. The crystal elements hang in swags between the arms and as individual drops beneath each candle holder, catching and refracting light across the full 72cm diameter.

Designed for formal dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and drawing rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the chandelier delivers ambient illumination from 16 individual bulb sources while the crystal droplets add decorative sparkle. The 69cm drop from ceiling rose to base suits rooms where the chandelier can hang 700-900mm above a dining table or clear of head height in a hallway. The gold finish on the metalwork provides a warm tonal base that pairs with traditional, classical and warm contemporary interiors.

Each crystal pendant is cut and polished Czech glass, giving sharper facets and clearer light refraction than moulded acrylic alternatives. The chandelier weighs 11kg when fully assembled, requiring secure ceiling fixings and a joist position or reinforced ceiling rose capable of supporting the load. The candle-style holders accept standard SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately.

What bulbs does it take?

The Queenlight takes 16 x SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers use LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) at 4-6W equivalent to keep running costs low while maintaining the candle aesthetic.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 69cm drop from ceiling rose to base suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. For dining rooms, the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.6m to allow comfortable headroom when standing.

How is the chandelier supported?

At 11kg fully assembled, the chandelier requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting at least 15kg. Installation directly into a ceiling joist or onto a reinforced ceiling rose is required. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient.

Can the crystal droplets be removed for cleaning?

Yes. Each crystal pendant hangs on a small hook or pin that can be lifted off during cleaning. Wipe crystals with a dry microfibre cloth or use a barely-damp cloth for stubborn marks. Avoid chemical cleaners or soaking the metalwork.
