Queenlight 12 Light Crystal Chandelier - Chrome

The Queenlight is a 12-light crystal chandelier built around a two-tier polished chrome frame with eight arms on the lower tier and four on the upper tier. Each arm terminates in a candle-style SES bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), and the entire frame is dressed with Czech crystal droplets on chains and pendants. The chrome metalwork forms curved scroll arms, and the crystal elements hang from these arms and from a central column, creating a cascading effect when lit.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Queenlight provides both decorative presence and functional ambient light. The 55cm diameter and 48cm drop suit rooms approximately 4-5m across, where the chandelier can hang 2-2.5m above floor level without obstructing sightlines. The 12 candle bulbs give a combined maximum output of 720W if using incandescent bulbs, though most installations now use LED candle bulbs at 4-6W per fitting for equivalent light at lower wattage.

The polished chrome finish on the frame gives a reflective surface that catches and multiplies the light from the bulbs and the crystal facets. Each Czech crystal droplet is individually cut and faceted, so the refraction pattern and sparkle vary with viewing angle and light direction. The combined weight of the chrome frame and crystal is 7kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or rated ceiling rose capable of supporting that load. The chandelier arrives partially assembled, with the arms and crystal elements requiring attachment to the central column during installation.

What bulbs does the Queenlight take?

The chandelier takes 12 x SES (Small Edison Screw, E14 base) candle bulbs, each rated up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users now fit LED candle bulbs at 4-6W per fitting for warm white light at 2700K-3000K.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 48cm drop plus the chain/rod suspension means the chandelier typically hangs 70-100cm below the ceiling fixing point, depending on the length of chain used. For a dining table installation, the bottom of the chandelier should sit 75-90cm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of approximately 2.7m or higher.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply before cleaning. Wipe the chrome frame with a soft dry microfibre cloth. For the crystal droplets, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water or a specialist crystal cleaner, then dry immediately with a lint-free cloth to avoid water marks. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the fitting.

Does it arrive fully assembled?

No. The chandelier arrives with the central column and some crystal elements pre-attached, but the arms and remaining crystal droplets require fitting during installation. The fitting instructions are included in the box. Installation typically takes 30-60 minutes once the ceiling fixing point is prepared.
