The Queenlight is a 10 light Czech crystal chandelier built around a central gold-finished column with ten curved arms extending outward, each ending in a candle-style holder and glass drip tray. Cut crystal droplets and garlands hang from each arm and from the central column, catching and refracting light across the fitting's 72cm diameter spread. Each arm takes a single SES (E14) bulb up to 60W, sold separately.

Designed for dining rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, entrance halls and living rooms where a decorative centrepiece is wanted, the Queenlight provides ambient light through ten individual sources rather than a single central bulb. The 40cm drop from ceiling rose to the base of the fitting keeps the chandelier compact enough for standard UK ceiling heights while the 72cm width suits rooms of 4-5m square or larger without overwhelming smaller dining areas. The gold finish on the metalwork pairs with both warm-toned traditional interiors and neutral contemporary schemes.

Each crystal piece is hand-cut Czech glass, so minor variations in size and clarity between individual droplets are normal. The combined weight of the glass arms, metal frame and crystal garlands gives the fitting a total mass of 8kg, requiring a ceiling rose and joist capable of supporting that load safely. The gold finish is applied to a metal alloy base and sealed, so it will not tarnish under normal indoor conditions but should not be cleaned with abrasive cloths or chemical sprays.

What bulbs does it take?

The Queenlight takes ten SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft glow that complements the crystal and gold finish.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

The 40cm drop is relatively compact for a 10 light chandelier, making it suitable for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4-2.6m in dining rooms where the fitting hangs 700-800mm above the table surface. Rooms with ceilings below 2.4m may find the chandelier sits too low unless the chain is shortened during installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not spray liquid directly onto the fitting and avoid soaking the metal joints where the crystals attach.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The Queenlight is designed for flat ceilings. Installation on a sloped ceiling requires a ceiling rose adaptor kit (sold separately) that levels the canopy and allows the chain to hang vertically. Consult a qualified electrician before attempting installation on anything other than a flat horizontal ceiling.
