Description

The Nova is a 5 light crystal chandelier built on a solid brass frame finished in gold plate, draped with cut Strass lead crystal droplets in a tiered basket-and-crown arrangement. Five BC (bayonet cap) lampholders sit within the upper tier, each accepting bulbs up to 60W. The frame measures 43cm in diameter and 67cm in height, creating a tall vertical profile that delivers presence without requiring the floor space of wider traditional chandeliers.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls, stairwells and formal lounges where ceiling height permits, the Nova pairs well with rooms of 3m+ height where the 67cm drop can be appreciated without crowding the space below. The narrow 43cm diameter suits circular dining tables up to 120cm and rectangular tables up to 180cm, providing overhead lighting without extending into the visual field of seated diners. The 7kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and secure fixing into a joist or ceiling anchor.

Is the gold finish real gold?

The frame is solid brass with a gold-plated finish applied to the surface. This is not solid gold, but the brass base ensures the finish does not wear through to a different metal underneath, as it would on a steel or aluminium substrate.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Strass lead crystal is best cleaned by removing individual droplets and washing them in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, then drying with a lint-free cloth. For light dusting without removing the crystals, use a dry microfibre cloth while the chandelier is switched off and cool.
