Description
The Mistelle is an 11-light chandelier built around a gold-finished metal frame carrying hand-cut crystal drops, pendants and draped strands assembled in the Czech Republic. The frame arranges eleven upright candle-style arms in two tiers around a central column, each arm fitted with an SES bulb holder (bulbs sold separately, 40W maximum per socket). The crystal components include precision-cut teardrop pendants, faceted spheres, and decorative rosettes that cascade from the frame in dense layers.
Designed for formal dining rooms, entrance halls with ceiling heights of 3m or above, and double-height stairwells, the Mistelle measures 78cm across and 95cm from canopy to lowest crystal drop. The chandelier weighs 22kg, requiring a secure ceiling fixing capable of supporting that load plus a safety margin. The radial arrangement of the eleven arms spreads light outward and downward, with the crystal facets reflecting and refracting candlelight-effect bulbs into overlapping pools across walls and ceilings.
The gold finish on the metal frame provides a warm base tone that contrasts with the clear crystal, suiting traditional interiors with warm woods, rich wall colours, and architectural mouldings. The central column features tiered crystal collars and looped accents that add vertical rhythm to the overall composition. Each crystal piece is individually hung and secured, so the chandelier arrives partially disassembled for safe shipping and requires assembly on installation.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The chandelier takes eleven SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs, maximum 40W per socket. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers choose warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K to replicate traditional candlelight.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 95cm drop from canopy to lowest crystal pendant suits rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above. In dining rooms, the chandelier typically hangs 75-85cm above the table surface, which requires at least 2.4m floor-to-ceiling height depending on table height.
Does it arrive fully assembled?
No. The chandelier ships partially disassembled to protect the crystal during transit. The metal frame and crystal strands require assembly on installation, following the included instructions. Allow 60-90 minutes for a first-time fitting.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal piece with a dry microfibre cloth or use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. Avoid sprays, polishes or soaking the crystal. For thorough cleaning, remove individual crystal pieces and wash in warm soapy water, rinse, dry completely, and rehang.
