Description

The Livenza is an 8-light chandelier built on a gold-plated metal frame with eight curved arms radiating from a central column, each arm holding a ribbed glass shade over a G9 bulb fitting. Lead crystal Strass droplets hang in tiers between the arms and form swags beneath each light, with a single faceted crystal ball suspended at the base.

Designed for formal dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Livenza provides ambient and decorative light across a 3-4m diameter space. The 56cm frame diameter and 42cm body height require an additional drop of 80-120cm from the ceiling rose to the top of the chandelier for visual balance in tall rooms. The eight G9 bulbs (sold separately, max 33W each) give a combined output sufficient for primary lighting in rooms up to 20m².

The ribbed glass shades diffuse light upward and outward while the lead crystal droplets refract individual beams into scattered points across walls and ceilings. The gold-plated finish on the metalwork shows a warm yellow tone rather than the cooler brass or antique brass seen on similar frames, making it pair most comfortably with warm-toned wood furniture, cream walls and traditional carpet patterns. At 4kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or a ceiling rose rated for the combined weight.

What bulbs does the Livenza take?

The chandelier takes eight G9 capsule bulbs, maximum 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED G9 capsules between 2700K-3000K to reduce heat and running cost while maintaining traditional light quality.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 42cm body height requires an additional 80-120cm drop from the ceiling rose for visual balance, so ceiling heights of 2.7m or above are recommended. In rooms with 3m+ ceilings the chandelier can be suspended lower to bring light closer to a dining table.

How is the chandelier cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Dust the gold-plated frame and ribbed glass shades with a soft dry cloth. Clean the lead crystal droplets individually with a damp microfibre cloth and distilled water, then dry immediately to prevent water marks. Do not spray household cleaners directly onto the fitting.

Can it be fitted to a sloped ceiling?

The chandelier is designed for horizontal ceilings. Fitting to a sloped ceiling would require a specialist ceiling rose adapter to maintain the vertical hang of the frame and prevent the crystals from sitting at an angle.
