Description

The Glanmore is a 6-light solid brass chandelier with six curved arms radiating from a central ornamental column, finished in polished brass. Each arm terminates in a candle-style holder with a BC (B22 bayonet cap) socket, taking standard candle bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately). The 60cm diameter and 40cm body height give the chandelier a substantial presence suited to formal dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height stairwells.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Glanmore works in both square and round floor plans where the six-arm symmetry can be read from multiple viewing angles. The polished brass finish reflects ambient and artificial light, giving the chandelier a warm metallic glow that changes tone through the day and pairs well with heritage interiors, panelled walls and ceiling roses. The vertical stem length is adjustable on installation using chain or rod suspension depending on the ceiling height and the intended drop over a dining table or entrance hall floor.

The ornamental casting on the central column and the basket-form lower section add three-dimensional detail when viewed from below, making the chandelier a focal point even when unlit. The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 5kg weight, requiring secure fixing to a joist or ceiling beam rather than plasterboard alone. Does the polished brass tarnish?
