Description

The Flessen is a 9-light solid brass chandelier with a two-tier frame in a gunmetal finish, measuring 71cm diameter and 64cm height on chain suspension. Nine curved arms extend from a central turned column, each supporting a candle sleeve fitted for SES (E14) bulbs rated up to 60W per socket. The gunmetal finish provides a dark metallic surface that sits between black and polished nickel.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and reception areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Flessen pairs formal proportions with a dark finish that works across both traditional and transitional interiors. The two-tier arrangement places three arms on the upper level and six on the lower, distributing light evenly across a 2.5-3m diameter zone beneath the chandelier. Chain suspension allows the drop to be adjusted on installation to suit ceiling height and the room's scale.

The solid brass construction gives the chandelier a total weight of 4.5kg, requiring secure ceiling fixing to a joist or ceiling plate rated for the load. The gunmetal finish is applied over brass, providing a darker alternative to the polished brass or chrome variants in the Flessen range. Each arm curves outward from the central column before turning upward to the candle sleeve, creating the open profile typical of classical chandelier design without the visual weight of a closed drum or shade.

Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to replicate the appearance of filament candles without the heat output of halogen. The chandelier is not dimmable on its own but can be paired with compatible dimmers if LED bulbs rated for dimming are used.
