The Elbra is a 30-light crystal chandelier built around an antique brass frame with a 105.5cm diameter and 109cm drop. Cascading strands of faceted cut crystal droplets form a basket-style lower section beneath an upper crown ringed with additional crystal draping, with 30 BC (bayonet cap) candle bulbs distributed around both the upper ring and mid-body arms. Each bulb takes up to 25W (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for large formal interiors with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Elbra suits entrance halls, stairwells with double-height voids, dining rooms in period properties, and ballrooms where both scale and decorative density are needed. The 25kg weight requires a reinforced ceiling rose or joist fixing rather than plasterboard-only mounting. The antique brass finish provides a warmer, aged-metal tone that pairs with traditional and neoclassical interiors, softening the high-contrast sparkle of the cut crystal.

The crystal droplets are individually strung on metal pins, allowing light from the 30 bulbs to refract through each facet and cast prismatic patterns onto walls and ceilings when lit. The frame construction positions bulbs at multiple heights across the 109cm drop, creating layered light output rather than a single-plane wash. The basket form tapers from the narrow crown down to the widest point at mid-body before curving back inward at the base, giving the chandelier a balanced silhouette when viewed from below.

The chandelier takes 30 BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulbs, each rated up to 25W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K to reduce running cost and heat output compared to incandescent.

What ceiling height is needed?

With a 109cm drop and 105.5cm diameter, the Elbra is designed for ceiling heights of 3.5m or above. In double-height entrance halls or stairwells with 5m+ ceiling heights, the chandelier can be suspended lower to bring the decorative effect closer to eye level.

How is the chandelier installed?

The 25kg weight requires a ceiling rose fixed into a joist or reinforced ceiling structure. Plasterboard-only fixings are not sufficient. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended, particularly in heritage or high-ceiling properties where access and structural load assessment may be needed.

Can the crystals be cleaned?

Yes. Individual crystal droplets can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. For deep cleaning, crystals can be unhooked from their metal pins (mark positions first to aid reassembly) and washed in warm soapy water, rinsed and dried before reattaching.
