Description
The Bressa is a 12-light chandelier built on a polished nickel frame with optical glass shades and faceted lead crystal droplets. Twelve curved arms radiate from a central column in a symmetrical pattern, each arm holding a sculpted glass shade shaped to diffuse light from a G9 bulb (sold separately). Teardrop-cut crystal droplets hang beneath each arm and from the central stem, catching and fragmenting light when the chandelier is lit.
Designed for tall entryways, stairwells above half-landings and dining rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the 64cm diameter and 45cm drop suit spaces where the chandelier will be viewed from below and across multiple sight lines. The radial arm configuration creates an open, sculptural presence rather than a dense mass, allowing the fixture to fill a large volume without blocking vertical sight lines up a stairwell or across a double-height space.
The polished nickel finish provides a cooler metallic tone than brass or bronze, which pairs comfortably with both classical detailing and contemporary grey or white interiors. Each optical glass shade is moulded with facets that create prismatic effects when lit, while the lead crystal droplets add weight and movement to the lower third of the fixture. At 12kg, the chandelier requires a ceiling rose rated for the weight and a chain or rod suspension that can be adjusted during installation to suit the drop height needed.
The G9 bulb fitting accepts halogen or LED capsule bulbs up to 33W per socket, giving a combined maximum load of 396W across all twelve positions. Most installations pair this with 3-5W LED G9 capsules at 2700K-3000K for warm white ambient light that highlights the crystal and glass without overpowering smaller adjacent rooms visible from the installation space.

Frequently Asked
Does the Bressa come with bulbs?
No. The chandelier requires twelve G9 bulbs sold separately. Most users choose LED G9 capsules between 3-5W at 2700K-3000K to balance light output with running cost and bulb lifespan.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 45cm drop from canopy to lowest crystal droplet suits ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher. In stairwells or double-height spaces, the chandelier can be suspended lower to bring it into the sight line from ground floor and first floor landings.
Is the chandelier dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb type. LED G9 capsules must be rated as dimmable and paired with a compatible LED dimmer. Halogen G9 bulbs dim on standard trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmers.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Lead crystal droplets can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the chandelier is switched off and cool. For deeper cleaning, remove individual droplets from their pins, wash gently in warm soapy water, rinse in distilled water and dry thoroughly before reattaching.
