Description

The Bravia is a 230mm flush-mount ceiling light built around a dome of radial-cut lead crystal segments, held within a circular gold-plated metal frame. Two SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs sit behind the crystal dome, casting light through the faceted glass which refracts it into geometric patterns across the ceiling and walls. The 13cm projection from ceiling to base keeps the fitting compact for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m.

Designed for bedrooms, dressing rooms, hallways and bathrooms (non-rated for zones, suitable for general bathroom use only), the Bravia provides ambient light with decorative presence. The gold finish on the metal trim adds warm metallic accents that pair with brass door furniture, warm wood tones and traditional or transitional interiors. The flush-mount design means no drop, chain or visible cable — the fitting sits directly against the ceiling rose.

Each crystal segment is precision-cut with facets that catch and scatter light when the bulbs are on, creating subtle reflections on surrounding surfaces. The lead crystal adds weight (4kg total) and optical clarity that standard glass cannot match, giving sharper refractions and brighter sparkle. What bulbs does it take?

The Bravia takes two SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W maximum per bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose LED candle or golf ball bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 13cm projection makes it a good choice for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m, or where a pendant or semi-flush would hang too low. The flush-mount design sits directly against the ceiling rose with no drop.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The Bravia carries no IP rating, so it is suitable for general bathroom use outside of zones (more than 60cm from the edge of a bath or shower enclosure). It cannot be installed in zones 0, 1 or 2 where direct water contact is possible.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Wipe the crystal segments gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or letting water enter the lampholder openings.
