Ziva 6 Light K9 Crystal Chandelier - Chrome

The Ziva is a 440mm crystal chandelier built around a curved chrome frame densely dressed with faceted K9 crystal strands. Six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit within the frame, their light refracting through the crystal facets to create sparkle and movement across walls and ceilings. The wave-form profile gives the fitting an architectural presence that differs from traditional circular or linear designs.

Designed for dining tables, living room centres and entrance halls with ceiling heights above 2.4m, the Ziva hangs on fine steel suspension cables that allow the fitting to appear to float when viewed from beneath. The chrome frame catches ambient light during the day, while the crystal strands come alive when the bulbs are lit in the evening. The 12.3kg weight gives the fitting a solid presence once installed, requiring a ceiling rose rated for heavy fixtures.

The K9 crystal is optically clear machine-cut glass with high lead content, giving sharper refraction than standard glass. Each crystal strand is individually attached to the chrome frame, creating a dense curtain effect that partially obscures the bulbs and diffuses their light. The polished chrome finish on the structural frame provides high reflectivity that amplifies the crystal sparkle, making the fitting more visually active than equivalent matt or brushed finishes.

The wave-form structure measures 440mm at its widest point and 320mm in height, making it proportionally suited to dining tables between 1.6m and 2.2m in length or living rooms with floor areas of 16-25m². The fitting works in both minimalist interiors where it acts as the primary decorative element, and in layered schemes where it pairs with other chrome or crystal accents.

What bulbs does the Ziva take?

The fitting takes six G9 capsule bulbs, each with a maximum wattage of 5.5W (33W total across six bulbs). Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm white LED G9 bulbs between 2700K and 3000K to create a flattering light through the crystal.

Is the crystal real or acrylic?

The Ziva uses K9 crystal, which is optically clear machine-cut glass with high lead content. This gives sharper refraction and more sparkle than acrylic alternatives, but also contributes to the 12.3kg weight of the fitting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 320mm height of the fitting itself, plus suspension cable length, means the Ziva works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. When hung over a dining table, allow 700-800mm clearance between the table surface and the base of the fitting.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool completely before cleaning. Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe each crystal strand individually, or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. Avoid household sprays or chemical cleaners, which can leave residue on the faceted surfaces.
