Ziva 6 Light Crystal Pendant Light - Chrome

The Ziva is a 55cm diameter pendant light built around a chrome circular frame wrapped with a continuous band of faceted K9 crystals. Six G9 bulb fittings sit inside the frame (bulbs sold separately), casting light outward through the crystal band and downward through a frosted glass diffuser in the base. The chrome frame and slender suspension wires give the fitting a clean profile despite the 9kg weight of metal and crystal combined.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Ziva works in rooms where the low 14cm body height prevents the fitting from dropping too far into sightlines. The 55cm diameter suits tables of 1.4-1.8m length or kitchen islands of similar width, providing spread light rather than a focused downlight. The suspension wires allow the drop to be adjusted during installation, typically positioning the fitting 700-800mm above a dining surface.

Each K9 crystal is precision-cut with multiple facets that catch and reflect ambient daylight and lamplight from the G9 bulbs inside, creating a continuous sparkle around the chrome rim. The chrome finish is polished to a mirror shine, amplifying reflections from the crystals and adding reflective interest even when the light is switched off. The frosted glass diffuser in the base softens the direct view of the six bulbs when seen from below, preventing glare while still allowing light to pass downward onto the table surface.

What bulbs does the Ziva take?

The fitting takes six G9 capsule bulbs with a maximum combined wattage of 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs at 3-5W each in warm white (2700K-3000K) for dining and kitchen island applications.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 14cm body height is lower than many pendant designs, making the Ziva suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights when hung 700-800mm above a table surface. The suspension wires can be shortened during installation to reduce the overall drop if needed.

How is the crystal band cleaned?

The K9 crystals can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, followed by immediate drying with a soft cloth to prevent water spotting. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the chrome or crystals.

The 55cm diameter works over tables of 1.4-1.8m length or rectangular kitchen islands of similar width. For larger tables, consider grouping two Ziva pendants in a line or selecting a larger pendant from the same Impex range.
