The Vessa is a 32cm diameter semi-flush chandelier built around two concentric rings of faceted crystal spheres set on a gold-finish metal frame, with six SES bulb fittings arranged around the upper ring. The semi-flush format sits 25cm from the ceiling rather than hanging on a chain, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m where a full-drop chandelier would hang too low.

Designed for dining rooms, formal lounges and entrance halls where ceiling clearance is limited but decorative presence is required, the Vessa pairs task and ambient light. The six SES bulbs (sold separately, maximum 40W each) illuminate the space while the faceted crystal refracts light across adjacent walls and ceilings. The dual-ring structure gives the fitting visual weight without requiring significant vertical clearance below the ceiling rose.

What bulb does the Vessa take?

The fitting takes six SES (E14, small Edison screw) bulbs, maximum 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with candle-style LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to suit the gold finish and crystal.

What ceiling height is needed?

The semi-flush format sits 25cm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with 2.4m ceiling heights where a full chandelier would hang too low. In rooms with higher ceilings (2.7m+), the fitting still works but may appear visually smaller relative to the ceiling height.

How is the 13kg weight supported?

The fitting must be secured to a ceiling joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for at least 15kg. Standard plasterboard alone will not support this weight safely. Professional installation is recommended.

Can the crystal be cleaned?

Yes. Switch off the mains supply and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal sphere with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or getting water into the bulb fittings.
