Verlin 4 Light Crystal Chandelier - Silver

The Verlin is a 4-light crystal chandelier with curved arms and scrollwork finished in silver streak, supporting four SES candle bulb fittings within crystal cups. Faceted crystal drops hang from each arm and from the central column on beaded strands, refracting light across the frame. The chandelier measures 54cm in diameter and 52cm in height before the chain drop, giving a compact but decorative presence.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Verlin suits both traditional and transitional interiors where a formal chandelier is wanted without overwhelming smaller rooms. The silver finish pairs with cool-toned palettes, mirrored furniture and polished chrome or stainless steel fixtures. The four candle-style bulbs sit upright in the crystal cups, casting light up through the crystals and down onto the table or floor below.

Each of the four arms curves outward from the central stem in a symmetrical arrangement, with the scrollwork and beaded crystal strands balancing the visual weight evenly around the frame. The silver streak finish is a brushed metallic tone that sits between polished chrome and antique pewter, providing a cooler alternative to brass or gold chandeliers. At 4kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or appropriate anchor point.

What bulbs does the Verlin take?

The chandelier takes four SES (Small Edison Screw, E14 base) candle bulbs, each up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional glow.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 52cm body height plus chain drop means the chandelier works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For dining tables, the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface.

Is the chandelier suitable for low ceilings?

At 52cm body height the Verlin is more compact than many traditional chandeliers, but it still requires sufficient drop clearance. Rooms with 2.3m ceilings may find the chandelier sits too low unless the chain is minimised during installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains before cleaning. Wipe each crystal drop individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, remove individual drops (they typically hook onto the frame) and wash in lukewarm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, then rinse and dry before re-hanging.
