The Talvia is a 3-light pendant or flush ceiling light built around a matt black circular frame holding three cylindrical glass shades filled with faceted clear crystal rods. Each cylinder houses a single ES (E27) bulb (sold separately), and the 54cm circular frame holds the three cylinders in a symmetrical arrangement — two offset on circular arms and one central. The dual-mount design allows the fitting to be installed as a pendant on a central rod or flush-mounted directly to the ceiling.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Talvia works as a pendant over a table or as a flush fitting in rooms where a traditional pendant drop would hang too low. The flush-mount configuration brings the fitting to just 24cm projection from the ceiling, making it suitable for period properties and modern apartments with lower-than-standard ceiling heights. The pendant configuration adds approximately 30cm drop depending on the rod length used.

The matt black circular frame contrasts with the clear crystal cylinders, which refract light into small highlights across walls and ceilings when the bulbs are lit. Each cylinder is filled with rectangular-cut crystal rods rather than round droplets, giving sharper, more geometric reflections than traditional chandelier styles. The 3.25kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 5kg, and the fitting is designed for mains-voltage ES bulbs up to 40W per socket — most users pair this with 6-8W warm-white LED bulbs at 2700K for ambient room lighting.

Can it be fitted to a low ceiling?

Is the crystal glass or acrylic?

The cylindrical shades are glass, and the rods inside are cut crystal rather than acrylic. The crystal refracts light into sharper, more defined highlights than plastic alternatives.

How is the fitting cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply and allow the bulbs to cool. The glass cylinders can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth. For the crystal rods, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water removes dust without leaving streaks. Avoid household sprays or polishes on the black frame as they can leave residue.
