The Streamlight is a 6-light crystal chandelier built on a gold-finished frame with six curved arms that sweep outward and downward, each supporting strands of Strass crystal droplets in a waterfall formation. The 60cm diameter frame positions the six BC (bayonet cap) bulb holders around a central column, with the crystal strands hanging in dense vertical clusters below and between each arm. Each bulb accepts up to 40W (sold separately).

Designed for formal dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the chandelier combines ambient light from six sources with decorative light refracted through the crystals. The 50cm drop from ceiling rose to lowest crystal point means the fitting sits prominently in the room without overwhelming spaces under 3m ceiling height. The gold frame finish pairs with warm-toned interiors, traditional joinery and darker wood furniture.

The Strass crystal droplets are machine-cut with faceted surfaces that catch and split light when the chandelier is lit, creating points of sparkle across the room without the uniform prismatic effect of lead crystal. The waterfall arrangement gives the chandelier a rounded, tiered profile rather than a flat horizontal spread, so it reads as a three-dimensional form from any angle in the room. What bulbs does it take?

The Streamlight takes six BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulbs, each up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this chandelier with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a traditional glow through the crystals.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 50cm drop from ceiling rose to lowest crystal point works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In a dining room, the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, requiring a ceiling height of around 3m for comfortable clearance.

How is the chandelier hung?

At 11kg, the Streamlight requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for the weight. The chandelier hangs from a chain and canopy that conceals the cable run, and professional installation is recommended due to the weight and wiring requirements.

Can the crystal strands be cleaned?

Yes. Strass crystal can be wiped with a soft, dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. For deeper cleaning, individual crystal droplets can be removed and washed in warm soapy water, then dried and re-hung. Avoid household sprays or chemical cleaners on the gold frame.
