Description
The Streamlight Dewfall is a 3-light crystal chandelier built around a gold-finished domed frame with arched arms from which Strass crystal droplets cascade in graduated lengths. The central canopy houses three BC (bayonet cap) bulb holders, each rated to 60W, positioned within the crystal curtain. The gold finish on the metalwork contrasts with the clear faceted crystal, creating warm reflections when lit.
Designed for rooms where a full-size chandelier would overwhelm, the 40cm diameter and 44cm drop suit dining tables in smaller dining rooms, dressing tables in walk-in wardrobes, low-ceilinged lounges, and entrance halls with limited ceiling height. The fixture works best hung 700-900mm above a table surface or centred in a 3-4m square room where it can be viewed from multiple angles. The three bulbs provide general ambient light rather than task lighting, so pairing with additional downlights or wall lights is typical in functional spaces.
The Strass crystal droplets are machine-cut with consistent faceting, producing sharper prismatic reflections than moulded acrylic alternatives. The gold frame is a warm yellow gold tone rather than rose or antique gold, pairing well with traditional brass hardware, warm oak or walnut furniture, and interiors using cream, ivory or deeper jewel tones. The 5kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and a secure fixing into a joist or reinforced ceiling.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The chandelier takes three BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulbs, each up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft glow through the crystal.
Is it suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The 44cm drop is compact compared to traditional chandeliers, making it workable in rooms with 2.4m ceiling heights when hung over a table or in a hallway where head clearance is not an issue.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, remove droplets from their hooks, wash in lukewarm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, rinse, and dry thoroughly before re-hanging.
What ceiling fixing is required?
The 5kg weight requires a ceiling rose or hook rated for at least 10kg, fixed into a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard fixing. Standard plasterboard alone will not support this weight safely.
