Description
The Streamlight is a 35cm semi-flush ceiling light built around a central gold fountain column from which arched gold arms cascade outward, each strung with faceted Strass crystal droplets. A single BC bulb sits inside the central column, casting light through the layers of hanging crystal to create prismatic reflections across the ceiling and upper walls. The 40cm overall drop means the fixture projects downward from the ceiling rose rather than sitting flush against it, giving the crystals room to hang and catch light.
Designed for bedrooms, hallways, dressing rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.6m where a full chandelier would overpower the room, the Streamlight provides decorative impact without the drop length of a traditional suspension fitting. The gold frame and warm crystal reflections suit classical and traditional interiors, or contemporary schemes looking to add warmth and texture at ceiling level. The 35cm diameter works in rooms as small as 2.5m square without dominating the space.
Each crystal droplet is individually hung on a gold wire link, creating movement and varied light refraction depending on viewing angle. The gold finish on the metal frame is polished rather than brushed, giving high reflectivity that amplifies both the crystal sparkle and the central bulb output. The fitting weighs 2kg once assembled, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or ceiling rose rated for the load. The fountain structure means the crystals radiate outward and downward from the centre, creating a waterfall effect when lit.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Streamlight takes a single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. The bulb is not included. Most users pair this with a 6-10W warm-white LED candle or golf ball bulb at 2700K-3000K to suit the traditional gold and crystal aesthetic.
Is this suitable for low ceilings?
The 40cm drop is shorter than a typical chandelier but still projects downward from the ceiling. In a room with a 2.3m ceiling, the lowest crystal droplets would hang at approximately 1.9m from the floor, which provides adequate clearance for most uses. Rooms with 2.2m ceilings may find the fitting projects too far down.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off at the mains and allow the bulb to cool fully. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the gold wire links or getting moisture into the central column.
Does it provide enough light for a bedroom?
With a single 60W-equivalent LED bulb (typically 6-10W actual draw), the Streamlight provides ambient and decorative light suitable for a bedroom of up to 12-14 square metres when paired with bedside task lighting. It is not designed as the sole light source in larger rooms.
