The Streamlight is a 35cm semi-flush ceiling light built around a gold-finished central column from which multiple curved metal arms radiate outwards, each holding chains of Strass crystal droplets and larger teardrop-shaped crystal pendants. A single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits at the centre, lighting the crystal from within and casting refracted light across the ceiling and surrounding walls. The 40cm overall drop keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the cascading crystal extends downwards in a waterfall formation.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m to 2.7m where a full pendant chandelier would hang too low, the semi-flush format suits hallways, landings, dining rooms and bedrooms needing decorative overhead lighting without sacrificing headroom. The gold-finished metal frame provides a warm metallic backdrop to the clear Strass crystal, which catches and splits light into spectrum colours when the bulb is lit. The 2kg weight requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or reinforced ceiling rose.

The fitting has a single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb holder with a maximum rating of 60W. A clear filament LED in the 4-8W range at 2700K-3000K provides sufficient light output and pairs well with the crystal refraction. Bulbs are sold separately.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 40cm drop works well in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m. The semi-flush design keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the cascading crystal extends downwards, making it suitable where a full pendant would hang too low or obstruct movement.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Turn off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe each crystal droplet gently. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystals or using chemical sprays near the metal components.

Does it require reinforced ceiling fixings?

Yes. At 2kg the fitting should be secured to a ceiling joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for the weight. A standard plasterboard fixing alone is not sufficient for safe long-term installation.
