The Streamlight is a 35cm single-light crystal chandelier built on an antique nickel wire frame with cascading Strass crystal droplets suspended from arching arms. The frame fans outward from a central stem, creating a fountain-like silhouette approximately 40cm in total drop. A single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits at the centre, surrounded by strands of faceted crystals that refract and multiply the light source.

Designed for rooms where floor space or ceiling height limits traditional chandelier sizing, the Streamlight suits powder rooms, compact entrance halls, walk-in wardrobes, and bedroom alcoves. The 35cm diameter and 40cm drop work in ceilings as low as 2.3m without overwhelming the space. The single bulb output is sufficient for accent lighting rather than primary illumination, so the chandelier is often paired with recessed downlights or wall lights in the same room.

The antique nickel finish reads as a muted silver-grey with subtle tonal variation, contrasting with the clear Strass crystal without competing for visual attention. Each crystal strand terminates in a teardrop-shaped pendant, and the entire assembly weighs 2kg when fitted. The BC bulb fitting accepts standard bayonet-cap bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs depending on the light quality required.

The Strass crystal used by Impex is a leaded glass formulation that refracts light more intensely than standard acrylic droplets, so even the single bulb creates noticeable sparkle across walls and ceilings when lit. The wire frame is pre-threaded during manufacture, so installation involves hanging the chandelier body and threading individual crystal strands through their designated loops on the frame arms.

What bulb does the Streamlight take?

It takes a single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED bulb at 2700K for warm accent lighting, or a decorative filament bulb where the bulb itself will be visible through the crystals.

Is it bright enough to light a room on its own?

No. The single 60W maximum output is designed for accent or decorative lighting rather than primary illumination. In a powder room or walk-in wardrobe it may provide sufficient light on its own, but in larger rooms it works best paired with recessed downlights or wall lights.

How are the crystals attached?

The wire frame has pre-threaded loops on each arm. Individual crystal strands thread through these loops during installation. The process is straightforward but requires care to avoid tangling the strands.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 40cm drop suits ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. In a typical 2.4m room the bottom of the chandelier will hang approximately 2m above floor level, clearing head height comfortably.
