The Streamlight is a 20cm diameter semi-flush ceiling light with cascading strands of precision-cut Strass crystal hanging from a gold-plated central column and canopy. A single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits inside the crystal cascade, casting light through the faceted drops and reflecting off the gold metalwork. The 30cm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or higher.

Designed for hallways, landings, cloakrooms and low-ceilinged bedrooms where a traditional chandelier would hang too low, the Streamlight provides decorative crystal presence without the projection of a full pendant. The semi-flush mount sits close to the ceiling with minimal air gap, while the waterfall arrangement of crystal droplets gives vertical interest. The gold finish on the metalwork pairs with warm-toned interiors, traditional brass hardware and period properties.

Each Strass crystal droplet is machine-cut with multiple facets to maximise light refraction. The gold-plated frame uses arched arms radiating from the central column, creating the fountain effect. The combined weight of crystal and metalwork is 1kg, requiring a ceiling rose rated for the load. The 60W maximum bulb rating allows flexibility between LED and traditional filament bulbs (sold separately).

What ceiling height is needed?

The 30cm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal point works in rooms with 2.3m ceilings or higher. In a typical hallway with 2.4m ceilings, the lowest crystals sit at approximately 2.1m from floor level, allowing comfortable head clearance.

What bulb does it take?

The fitting takes a single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED bulb between 6-8W and 2700K-3000K is typically used to cast light through the crystal without harsh glare.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The semi-flush design is specifically intended for lower ceilings where a traditional pendant would hang too far into the room. The 30cm total height includes the canopy-to-crystal drop, making it one of the more compact crystal ceiling lights available.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains before cleaning. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or using chemical sprays that may tarnish the gold-plated metalwork.
