Description
The Streamlight is a 20cm diameter crystal chandelier built around a central core of tiered Strass crystal strands, suspended from an antique nickel canopy on a white-coated chain. The design layers faceted octagonal and rectangular crystal pieces into a cascading fountain shape, with a flared crown at the top and longer teardrop crystals at the base. A single BC (bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits inside the crystal core, casting light outward through the faceted glass.
Designed for powder rooms, hallway landings, walk-in wardrobes and reading nooks with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the chandelier provides decorative accent light rather than primary illumination. The 30cm drop from canopy to base sits comfortably in compact spaces without overwhelming the proportions. The antique nickel finish on the frame and canopy provides a soft silver-grey tone that bridges contemporary and traditional interiors, pairing with both warm metallics and cooler chromes.
The Strass crystal used throughout is a lead-free optical-grade glass with machine-cut facets, giving each crystal piece defined prismatic edges. When lit, the crystals refract light into small rainbow scatters across adjacent walls and ceilings, adding visual texture to small rooms. The 2.75kg weight is supported by standard UK ceiling roses with no additional reinforcement needed. The chandelier also works well in sets of three installed in a row over a vanity, dressing table or kitchen island where a traditional single central fitting would look out of proportion.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The fitting takes one BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use a 4-6W LED globe or candle bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) to provide soft accent light without overwhelming a small room.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming depends on the bulb and dimmer switch combination. Standard LED BC bulbs marked 'dimmable' on the packaging work with most trailing-edge dimmers, but confirm compatibility with your specific dimmer model before purchase.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 30cm drop from canopy to base works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For hallway landings or double-height entrance areas, the chandelier can be suspended lower to create a focal point without looking undersized.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off at the mains and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal piece with a dry microfibre cloth. For heavier dust build-up, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal fittings or using household sprays which can leave residue on the faceted glass.
