Streamlight 1 Light Crystal Waterfall Chandelier - Polished Nickel

The Streamlight is a 35cm crystal chandelier built around a polished nickel fountain-style frame from which arched arms suspend cascading strass crystal droplets and pendants. A single BC (bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits at the centre of the frame, with light refracting through the crystal strands that form a waterfall dome around the light source. The chandelier weighs 2kg and measures 40cm from canopy to the lowest crystal point.

Designed for entrance halls, small dining rooms, powder rooms and breakfast room ceilings with heights of 2.4m or above, the Streamlight pairs decorative presence with compact proportions. The 35cm diameter keeps the footprint small enough for spaces where a traditional 5- or 8-light chandelier would overwhelm, while the crystal strands and polished nickel frame still deliver the visual weight of a statement fitting. The single bulb configuration simplifies installation to a standard UK ceiling rose and draws less power than multi-bulb alternatives.

The polished nickel finish provides a cool metallic contrast against the clear and black strass crystals, catching reflections from both natural daylight and bulb light. Each crystal strand terminates in a faceted pendant, and the black crystal accents create visual rhythm through the cascading droplets. The arched frame structure fans symmetrically from the central column, giving the chandelier a fountain silhouette when viewed from below.

What bulb does it take?

The Streamlight takes a single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. The bulb is sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED golf ball or candle bulb between 5-8W and 2700K-3000K to avoid glare while maximising the crystal refraction.

Can it be used in a low-ceilinged room?

The total drop is 40cm from canopy to the lowest crystal point. This works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, where the chandelier can hang approximately 2m above floor level. For ceilings below 2.4m the fitting may feel visually heavy unless positioned centrally over a table or in a hallway where headroom beneath is not critical.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal strand with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or dripping water into the bulb holder. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystals.

Is the polished nickel finish lacquered?

Impex typically lacquers polished nickel finishes to prevent tarnishing, but exposure to steam or high humidity over time may dull the finish. For bathroom or ensuite installation, consider a chrome alternative if long-term finish retention is critical.
