Description

The Stralen is a 5-light crystal chandelier built around a central polished chrome column with curved arms extending outwards to support five downward-facing crystal shades. Each shade is formed from individual faceted lead crystal elements arranged in a cone shape, with the crystals layered to create depth and scatter light in multiple directions. The chandelier takes five SES (E14) bulbs up to 40W each, sold separately.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Stralen fits spaces where a decorative centrepiece is needed without dominating the room. The 33cm diameter and 51cm drop suit tables up to 1.6m long or hallway positions where the chandelier hangs over a console or runner. The polished chrome frame reflects surrounding light and pairs with both cool-toned interiors and warmer schemes where metallic accents are used as contrast.

The five curved arms radiate from a central hub with smaller crystal droplets and decorative chrome elements positioned between the main shades and the column. The chandelier uses five SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K, or clear filament bulbs for visible spectrum effects through the crystal.

What ceiling height is needed?

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal element with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more thorough cleaning, remove individual crystals from their hooks and wash in warm water with a small amount of washing-up liquid, then dry immediately with a lint-free cloth before rehanging.

Is the chrome finish polished or brushed?

The finish is polished chrome with a high-gloss reflective surface. This creates strong reflections and pairs well with other polished metal fixtures in the same room.
