The Stelis is a 12-light chandelier constructed from clear Czech lead crystal, featuring twelve curved arms arranged in two tiers radiating from a central stem. Each arm terminates in an upward-facing SES (E14) candle bulb holder, with the crystal body extending to a 90cm diameter and 110cm total drop from ceiling rose to finial. The chandelier is fabricated in the Czech Republic using traditional hot-forming techniques for the glass arms and decorative elements.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, formal dining rooms with ceiling heights above 3.5m, and staircases where the chandelier can hang between floors, the Stelis provides both decorative presence and functional light across a broad vertical spread. The twelve bulbs distribute light upwards through the crystal arms, which refract and scatter the output to reduce harsh shadows. The 26kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for heavy lighting fixtures and secure joist fixing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 110cm drop and 90cm diameter suit rooms with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above. In lower-ceiling rooms the chandelier may dominate the space or create head clearance issues beneath the lower tier of arms. Double-height entrance halls and stairwells where the chandelier hangs between floors are the ideal application.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier takes twelve SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to reduce running costs and heat output while maintaining the traditional candle appearance.

How is it fitted given the 26kg weight?

The 26kg weight requires a ceiling rose fixed directly into a joist or to solid timber blocking installed between joists. Plasterboard fixings alone will not support this chandelier safely. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended, particularly where ceiling access is limited.

Does the crystal require cleaning?

Yes. Lead crystal collects dust and airborne particles which dull the refraction over time. Clean individual crystal components with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid household glass cleaners which can leave residue. Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully before cleaning.
