Description

The Sparkline is a 95cm diameter chrome chandelier with 12 candle-style lights arranged across two tiers on curved metal arms. Each arm terminates in an SES bulb holder (bulbs sold separately) and is dressed with cut crystal droplets that catch and refract light. The polished chrome frame combines a central column with radiating curved arms that sweep outward and upward, creating a symmetrical crown profile.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Sparkline suits formal dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and gallery landings where the 95cm diameter and 95cm drop can be appreciated from multiple angles. The two-tier arrangement of lights distributes illumination across upper and lower zones, providing ambient light without creating harsh downward glare. The chrome canopy fits a standard UK ceiling rose and the chain-hung suspension allows height adjustment during installation.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and amplifies the sparkle from the crystal droplets when the chandelier is lit. The chandelier uses 12 SES (E14 small Edison screw) candle bulbs, sold separately. Each bulb can be up to 60W, though most users fit 4-6W LED candles for equivalent brightness at lower running cost. Choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for a traditional look.

What ceiling height is required?

With a 95cm drop and 95cm diameter, the Sparkline works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In dining rooms the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, so a 2.7m ceiling allows clearance for both the fitting and comfortable headroom around the table.

Is professional installation needed?

Yes. At 14kg the chandelier requires ceiling fixings rated to support at least 20kg. Plasterboard ceilings need a joist-mounted support or specialist plasterboard fixings. An electrician can confirm the ceiling structure is adequate and install the chandelier safely.

How are the crystal droplets cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow bulbs to cool fully. Wipe each crystal droplet gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the crystals or using chemical sprays that can leave residue on the cut facets.
